Don’t forget your walking boots, there are some amazing walks to enjoy. Head along the coast to St Agnes Head and Chapel Porth, where the iconic Wheal Coates crowns dramatic cliffs. Spectacular Atlantic sunsets from the beach at Trevaunance complete a truly memorable experience. A great day out, so good you may want to stay longer.

Continue down to Trevaunance Cove, once a bustling harbour at the heart of the mining industry whose legacy still shapes the landscape today. There is so much to see and do in beautiful St Agnes.

Time for a longer walk? There’s so much to discover along this dramatic coastline, where the legacy of mining shapes this distinctive landscape. From Trevaunance Cove, head west along the South West Coast Path to St Agnes Head and take in breathtaking coastal views. It’s easy to see why this remarkable coastline forms part of the Cornwall National Landscape.
For a longer walk, continue on towards Chapel Porth, a stretch of coast renowned for its striking scenery and well-preserved Cornish engine houses perched on rugged cliffs. Among them is the iconic Wheal Coates, one of the most photographed and recognisable engine houses in Cornwall, located amidst coastal heaths, a haven for wildlife.

Enjoy the sunset over Trevanance Cove before heading back by bus to Truro, if you can tear yourself away from the view!
